Updated 3 Aug 2009

back to T.T.T.C. Home Page

Due to previous overcrowding, play is now limited to 12 players per night. Eight players per night are regular members (names in bold below), and four are reserved for visitors. If more than five visitors arrive before 8:15, then priority is given to those who are 1) U.S.A.T.T. Members (names in italics), 2) from the Salt Lake Club, and 3) have previously attended the most. Visitor cost is $3.00 payable before playing (mark yourself paid). National Ratings are given in parentheses (as of Dec 31, 2008).

Ranking Rules. You may challenge the player immediately above you, or two above you, and the challenge may not be refused. Challenge matches are the usual three out of five 11-point games. If one or both of the players you may challenge is not present, then you may challenge the next two higher ranked players who are present between 8:30-10:00 pm. If you prevail, you move above the person you defeated, and then you may continue up the ladder, even in the same night. If you do not attend at least once per month, you drop in the rankings. You may only play one challenge match with any given opponent in one night.
