An updated table of detailed star information about all stars in the Star Calendar is presented.

Last year the Star Calendar developed in my work was considered virtually finished with only very minor tweaks expected to improve it slightly. A table of data for each the stars was published,[1] which has remained virtually unchanged since its publication except for the adding a few names to otherwise unnamed stars. Recently some updates of exactly which stars should be included were discovered,[2] resulting in the following updated table of Star Calendar star data. This latest version is considered rather more accurate, with very few future changes expected.

Stars are ordered by longitude.
The following table contains detailed information about all of the stars in the Star Calendar. The "Num" column is the star day number from 1-371, meaning the day of the year (364 plus 7 leap days) starting from the zodiac constellation Virgo (Maiden). "Z Day" is the day of the zodiac month. "Con" is the abbreviation of the constellation containing the star. "Grk ID" is astronomical designation using the Greek letter and "Eng ID" uses the three-letter English abbreviation for the Greek letter.

"SD" is the sidereal day of that star, which is like longitude along the ecliptic circle (apparent annual path of the sun through the stars), except that it is divided into 364 days instead of 360 degrees. The sidereal day should be within about a few days of the star day number in the first column. The sidereal days should also be approximately in order. "Lat" is the star's latitude north of the ecliptic in degrees and is only included for interest; it has no bearing on star ordering which is based on the sidereal day. The illustration shows the ecliptic and how latitude is measured above or below it and longitude is measured around it.

"LM" is the lunar mansion number if that star is one of those 28 stars which mark the approximate daily progression of the moon through the stars, which takes 27.3 days to complete one revolution. If that number is in italics, then that mansion corresponds to one of the 20 glyphs of the veintena (Sacred Round), which represent the steps of life in order. "Mag" is the visual magnitude, where the higher the number the dimmer the star (1 is very bright, 5 is very dim). "Name" is my English name for the star; it is in italics for minor holy days and boldface italics for major holy days, due to star qualities alone (no seasonal holy days). Some stars have no name at all yet; those are left blank. Only about half of these stars have official astronomical names. Those are underlined and their names can be seen by hovering over or clicking on the English names. The last column explains why that English name was chosen. This data and more, such as the astronomical names, can be downloaded as a spreadsheet.
