Incredible Sculpture
This amazing sculptor Carlos has a website at cthomas.artelista.com/en/ where you can see some of his art. Attached are two of my favorites. The one called Perdido En El Tiemo is the Tree of Life scene from Stela 5 at Izapa, done on the head of Great-great-grandfather.
He invented his own medium. It is fine screen stretched over a wire frame. That is all it is! It is not covered with plaster. I just couldn't believe what he has accomplished. He is about 26 years old.
