This is how she looked in her older years as grandmother. Achsah's mother was called Henrietta after her mother. Her nick- name is "Rettie" to help recognize the difference between the two. She dedicated her retirement to serving the Lord as a temple worker in Logan. Calvin Jr. remembers his grandmother as a very neat and strict woman. At night she would put the school pants of the boys between the mattresses so that they would get pressed and have no wrinkles in the morning. She was the first teacher in Rockville and was a great teacher to many children of Utah and Old Mexico. She was also a mid-wife to many woman.
