David Fisk Stout, born in Centerville, Utah in a wagon box, followed his parents to St. George where they were called by Brigham Young to serve a cotton mission. David was called on a building mission to the St. George temple. While there he met his beloved wives Henrietta Cox, Sarah Cox, Julia Cox, (sisters) and Mary Jane Terry. He lived in Rockville with them, later moved to Mexico due to the persecution of practicing polygamy. He was part of the exodus from the Mormon colonies due to the Mexican Revolution that took over all the American settlements under the Poncho Villa terror reign. He later settled in Logan where he devoted his retiring years to temple work there. A great patriarch!
