Mother of Calvin Delos McOmber Sr. Marinda was born in Lehi, Stage coach inn and raised of goodly parents. She had a hard life as a single mother. Her only living child was Calvin Delos McOmber Sr. She was sealed to Arthur Benjamin Clark as one of his polygamist wives. She followed Arthur to the colonies of Old Mexico. While in Guadalupe, Calvin met and later Married Achsah Stout. While Marinda suffered with ill health, her son was her great joy. When Calvin suffered with Typhoid fever, she pled with the Lord for his life. She was promised a posterity and was tested in her faith of that promise. Calvin recovered and to her great joy gave her the posterity she so longed for.
